The International Certified Future Strategist programme runs over five months and four three-day modules. The ICFS covers step-by-step the theory and practice of futures thinking and strategy development.

The course ensures you understand how to link future with strategy and action; how to enhance your strategic thinking and planning by understanding your contextual environment.

After certification, ICFS alumni can choose to get qualification as part of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) recognized across Europe, by CMI – the Chartered Management Institute, UK (not covered in the ICFS fee). This is an opportunity for alumni to prove to others that they have gained knowledge on the subject of foresight, trend analysis, and strategy. Moreover, ICFS provides past and present participants with an international alumni network to keep updated of the latest research and thinking and catch up with former colleagues.

The next ICFS course will be held in 2021 in Stockholm, Sweden. Dates for the modules are:

Module 1: Environmental analysis (20-22 January 2021)
Module 2: Scenarios (10-12 March 2021)
Module 3: Vision & strategy analysis (21-23 April 2021)
Module 4: Strategy & action (26-28 May 2021)
Module 5: Summing up and certification, on-line (2 September 2021)
