The annual INCO Conference series targets primarily European and Third Country International Cooperation Experts, providing an excellent forum for a plethora of activities. Discussions will address critical issues such as the future of research in relation to the global challenges lying ahead in order to acquire insight for future coordinated actions. Invited speakers from worldwide organizations funding research will share their experiences, best practices and obstacles.
ICFS will be present in Athens with two speakers participating in the “Back to the Future” session: Stavros Mantzanakis (Phemonoe Lab) will present “Trends and Perspectives for China in the Global Research Environment”, while Lars Eidenvall (Kairos Future) will talk about the “Future Challenges facing humanity”.
The session will provide insight of some of the current megatrends changing our world and will highlight the value of strategic long term thinking on addressing our common global challenges.
